SUPER PAY CARDS! (1981-82) [7 episodes]
Decent Concentration-Poker combo, but something seems to be missing...maybe because it ran decades before Poker became insanely popular to have on television? (NOTE: All but D-31.7 feature an Audience Game (done to fulfill CanCon laws and edited out of US airings) using the eight-card portion of the bonus round.)
Yellow lettering on payoff table
* September 22, 1981: Mark vs. Ann Marie. Round 2: Four of a Kind. Credits are white, superimposed over a shot of the set. Very good episode! Taped from some Channel 5 in the US. [D-31.7]
* 1981: Darnley vs. Fran. Round 2: Two-Three-Four-Five. Audience Game Prize: flash camera. Credits are white, superimposed over a shot of the set. CHCH repeat from 1991 with a local promo for The Price Is Right, bad-but-watchable video but highly-recommended! [D-31.5]
* 1981: Mitchell (total moron) vs. Helen. Round 2: Strategy. Audience Game is played with TWO people! CHCH repeat from 1991 with a local promo for The Price Is Right, ends during credits. [D-31.6]
Blue lettering on payoff table, uncertain whether Mary Lou describes a full house
* 1981: David vs. Blossom. Round 2: Four of a Kind. Audience Game Prize: automatic can opener and knife sharpener. Audio/video slightly off, latter is bright at times. [D-31.3]
* 1981-82: Lennard vs. Gail. Round 2: Strategy. Audience Game Prize: popcorn popper. CHCH airing, audio/video slightly off, ends during credits. [D-31.4]
Blue lettering on payoff table, Mary Lou explains what a full house is in her rundown of the payouts
* Taped 1981: Brian vs. Doreen. Round 2: Strategy. Audience Game Prize: fire escape ladder. CHCH airing. [D-31.1]
* 1981-82: Martin vs. Jeannette. Round 2: Two-Three-Four-Five. Audience Game Prize: automatic can opener and knife sharpener. One player does so well that Round 3 is rendered pointless! [D-31.2]

PEOPLE ARE FUNNY (Art Linkletter, 1954-60) [1 episode]
Variety's nice, but like America's Got Talent I want to put a question mark at the end.
* July 6, 1957: A boy tries to borrow $1 from a friend over the phone; a couple who met via UNIVAC two or three weeks ago try to win $5,000 via an anagram; a young lady must guess which person of three is a silent-film star (Taylor Holmes) for $500. Original commercials. [D-28.1]

POWER OF 10 [3 episodes]
Mix of Play the Percentages, Card Sharks, and Family Feud, with a top prize of $10,000,000. Drew Carey is pretty good here. (All below episodes taped from WPEC.)
Season 1 (August-September 2007, twice-weekly)
* August 15, 2007: Kathleen at $1,000, then Eric vs. Mandy. Has a very funny FEMA-related song before Elimination Game #2! Original commercials, highly recommended! [38.5]
* August 22, 2007: Dewey at $100,000, then Will vs. Julie. Original commercials. [39.3]
Season 2 (January 2008, weekly)
* January 2, 2008 (Season Premiere/6th-to-last): Begins with Tony vs. Grinol. Fifth question insults Drew, and the third contestant CRASHES AND BURNS! Original commercials. [54.10]

PRESS YOUR LUCK (CBS, 1983-86) [7 episodes]
Classic game that was awesome all-around until CBS moved it to 4:00 PM. (All of the below are taped from WCBS unless otherwise noted.)
* September 19, 1983 (Premiere, taped 9/10/83): Lana vs. Linda vs. Phil. An exciting beginning to a fantastic series! Taped from KPIX with some commercials, first few seconds missing, ends during credits. [D-21.3]
* September 22, 1983 (taped 9/83): Jim vs. Robert (Day 2 - $4,598) vs. Terri. Original commercials and a Contestant Plug, ends during credits. [D-21.4]
* September 23, 1983 (taped 9/83): Dave vs. Shirley vs. Robert. Peter stops at a Whammy in his demo spin! Original commercials. [D-21.5]
* September 27, 1983 (taped 9/16/83): Debby vs. Maggie vs. Harold. Peter stops at a Whammy in his demo spin! Original commercials, ends during credits. [D-21.6]
* September 28, 1983 (taped 9/83): Donna vs. Rocco vs. Maggie. First day with the second set of boards! Original commercials, ends slightly after credits. [D-21.7]
* September 29, 1983 (taped 9/83): RANDY WEST vs. Pam vs. Maggie. NO Whammies hit in Round 1! Original commercials and a Ticket/Contestant Plug, ends late in credits. [D-21.8]
* September 30, 1983 (taped 9/83): RANDY WEST vs. Kathy vs. Alan. Peter stops at a Whammy in his demo spin, plus there's a CAR WIN! Original commercials, including a Press Your Luck promo! [D-21.9]

WHAMMY! THE ALL-NEW PRESS YOUR LUCK (2002-03) [1 episode]
Ran for 26 weeks and has its fans (plus the changes were pretty smooth compared to some other revivals), it mainly suffers from a lack of returning champs. Season 2 episodes are more easily recommended.
Season 2 (2003)
* March 20, 2003 (#2012 {77th taped overall, 70th aired}): Aaron vs. Eric vs. Taline. $17,785 BIG BANK BROKEN! Original commercials, hissing-type sound throughout (but very watchable). [34.2]
